Great opportunity available for a Principal .NET Developer to join a tech start-up in Manchester founded by one of the region’s wealthiest entrepreneurs.

The company employ around 60 people and are looking to expand further by creating a brand new team that will be responsible for the development of a new product suite. In order to do this they’re looking for a Principal .NET Developer to lead by example, providing technology leadership, motivation and inspiration to the team.

The current teams work as an integrated, multi-disciplinary agile group so you’d be working alongside other developers, product managers, user researchers and designers who value diversity and teamwork over individual heroics and you’d be expected to champion modern engineering practices like TDD, pair programming and continuous integration/deployment.

As Principal .NET Developer you’d also be responsible for pushing DevOps (as a culture, not a role) and modern engineering initiatives such as infrastructure as code.

In return they’re looking to offer a starting salary of up to £65,000 plus company benefits including bonus, pension, private health insurance and flexible working including the option to work from home.
